Today I would love to talk about languages learning.
Personally, I have been studying English over 10 years but I don’t think my English is perfect, on the contrary my English is still rusty. I am still improving.
I am learinig not only English but also any other languages such as French, German, Chinese and so on but I started studying those languages recently so I am bigginer of them.
I love to study languages because I believe this Nelson Mandera’s saying.
‘If you talk to a man in a language he understands, it goes to his head. If you talk to a man in his language, it goes to his heart.’
He was a first black president of South Africa.
I think you would get what my point easily. Imagine you are in your country and a foreigner talk to you in your language. I think you would think he or she is interested in your country and they want to know about your country. I don’t think you will feel bad about that, in fact I think you will be happy.
You can use English as a tool to communicate with people from all over the world but mother language is special for us.
I think when you start studying a language, it is important to have an aim to continue to learn it. You should have an incentive to study.
Anything is okay to contniue your language studying journey.
My incentive is to know a lot of cultural things if I could speak native language there. You will find out what you don’t know just by speaking English.
It is now commonplace to speak one’s mother tongue and English.
If you want to use your language skills at work, you will need a third language or more. So if you can speak not only English but also third language, you can make the best use of your language skill.
I am now using Duolingo to study languages.
It can be used free and you can leanrn a lot of languages.
We can use it as if we were playing games.
