Kamakura-Japan Travel Series-

Hi everyone! It has been a while since I uploaded last article. How are you doing these days? I hope you are doing well!

This time, I would like to introduce you Kamakura which has a rich Japanese history. Do you know anything about Kamakura? It is in kanagawa prefecture.(Kanagawa prefecture is in next to Tokyo. I think almost all people know Tokyo LOL).

I went to “Tsuruoka Hachimangu Shrine” which is 10 minute walk from Kamakura Station which is the center station of Kamakura.

The above photo is in front of “Tsuruoka Hachimangu Shrine”. You have to go up stairs if you want to see inside the shrine.

This shrine was built 800 years ago when it was “Kamakura Shogunate period”. In that time Kamakura was center of the country.

Also, I went to see “Daibutsu(Great Buddha). This Daibutsu is in “Kotoku-in temple”. It is a little bit far from Kamakura station but it is 7 minutes walk from Hase staion which is “Enoshima Dentetsu train line”. If you see this Great Buddha for the first time, I am very sure you will be surprised how big it is!

I took some videos how many people there are in Kotoku-in temple and how big it is compared with human beings. You can feel about them:)

Thank you for reading all of my article! If you have some advices or thoughts about my articles please feel free to write some comments but no spams please.
